Nadia Wilson (www.nadiawilson.co.uk) completed her performance studies at Trinity College of Music in Summer 2005. She has freelanced with many orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Northern Ballet Theatre Orchestra, New London Orchestra and the Seychelles International Festival Orchestra. Solo performances have included Mozart Clarinet Concerto, Weber Concerto no. 1 and Finzi’s Five Bagatelles. Nadia loves chamber music and is a founder member of the wind quintet, the London Myriad Ensemble, (www.londonmyriad.com) who, as winners of the 2nd International Israeli Music Competition, recently appeared on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune and in concert at the Purcell Room. Nadia has also performed many successful recitals in and around London in venues such as St. Martin-in-the-Fields, St. James’s, Piccadilly and Southwark Cathedral. Nadia also plays flute and saxophone, enjoying playing a mixture of repertoire in shows, big bands and function bands. She is also a deputy house musician with P & O Cruises. When Nadia is not playing, she works as a woodwind teacher in and around London. |
